Mike Cour

Mike Cour is a graduate of St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas with a degree of Bachelors of Business Administration, where he was a four year starter on the baseball team. His passion is to grow this business with his family. Among Mike’s many hobbies he enjoys team roping with his family.

Molly Cour

Molly has had a passion for horses her entire life. She and Mike Cour were married in 2006, and shortly after they began pursuing their dream of Equicare. Molly oversees the company operations, making sure the best care is given to every horse that comes through the facility.

Dember Bohanan

Dember Bohanan was raised in Hawaii where she competed in Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and High School Rodeo. Dember’s experience in multiple disciplines, her ability to handle all types of horse personalities and temperaments with stern but gentle hands will make all horse owners feel good about her caring for their horses.

Dr. Whitaker

Beau Whitaker received his DVM from Texas A&M University in 2005. He completed an internship at Arizona Equine following graduation and has practiced in Texas since that time. After a brief stint at the 6666’s Ranch, Beau moved to Salado, TX where he has practiced for 7 years focusing on lameness and performance horse medicine. Beau received his CERT(Certification in Equine Rehabilitation Therapy) in 2014 from the University of Tennessee.

Ellie Orlando

Since the beginning Ellie has been instrumental to the development of Equicare. She has been a member of WPRA and barrel racing professionally since she turned 18 in 2009. She has also competed in breakaway roping, team roping, cutting, pole bending and goat tying. Ellie has been riding since she could walk; horses are her love. Physical fitness and nutrition are also very important to Ellie, they carry over to her Equine passions and give her a unique combination of skill sets to optimally care for your horse.
